Donation

We rely exclusively on donations and grants from individuals, corporations, foundations and special events to provide free programs, meet community needs and run our operations. We are not a government funded agency. By supporting Sheena’s Place, you are helping to provide a safe, non-judgmental support centre where those affected by eating disorders can openly share and get support for the challenges they face every day. For more information about making a donation or a gift-in-kind, please contact our Executive Director, John Choi, at 416-927-8900 x 230.

Note: It is important to note that the tax rules for calculating the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) are changing for 2024. These changes will apply to high income earners and may impact the tax effectiveness of gifting securities in-kind. Given these forthcoming changes, proactive planning for charitable giving with your advisor is highly recommended.
